Petite Professional Complete Outfit for only $100

Who says you can't look good and feel good on a budget? Here is an outfit I put together for about $100 (and yes it includes the shoes and accessories)!!!
I am loving this new belt I got at H & M...it's tiny and fits my waist perfectly! And it adds a little something to a basic black dress.
Dress: H & M sheath dress- size 2, $34.95 (similar HERE and HERE)
Belt: H & M belt- size XS, $5.95 (similar HERE and HERE)
Shoes: BCBG patent pumps- size 5, $49.95 (on sale at Nordie's)

Close-up of the belt
I have this exact same H & M sheath dress in cream, see my previous post HERE. I loved the fit so much, I went on a mission to find the black one in a size 2 and I did!! YAY! There is actually a charcoal one in this style but I couldn't find it anywhere- I would have preferred the charcoal sheath dress since I already own the Banana Republic sheath dress (see my post HERE).

The entire outfit totals $102.80 (ok- I rounded down a few bucks for the sake of the post title). Not bad! I know H & M quality is not the greatest but this dress is actually made quite well. It's lined and the stitching is well done. And the best part- no tailoring expenses, whoo hoo! I love how the bust and waist area fits. And the neckline is so cute and not low cut so it's work/business appropriate. The cut on this dress definitely hugs your body and elongates a petite figure.
I normally don't go into the accessory section of any store because for some reason it's just overwhelming for me but I happened to wander into the belt section of H & M this past weekend and low and behold- I found 2 adorable XS petite belts! I didn't even know H & M carried XS belts! So this black bow belt is so adorable and the best part is not only does it fit my waist perfectly- it was only $5.95! It's obviously not the highest quality and its a snap closure which I am suspect about but hey it fits and it adds a little flair to this dress! I can also pair it with pencil skirts too so it will get lots of use.
The pink long strand pearls are my new favorite. It's hard to tell in the pictures that it is pink but indeed is a beautiful baby pink color. You can wear long strand pearls many different ways: the way I have it with a 3 tier, a single knot, or 2 long strands.  I was pressed for time so I will post it worn a different way with another outfit:)
So it is possible to look professional, polished and not break the bank. I am all about a great oufit that looks like it costs much more but at a fraction of the cost of high end department stores. It goes to show you that you don't have to spend big bucks to look and feel great (I'm only referring to the outfit- not me)!

oh how i wish i could pull of a sheath dress :( my hips are pretty wide so i won't look as good as you in it. BUT, I have that same belt and I absolutely love it <3 and I might want to check Nine West for those classic peep toes in nude. My shoe closet is craving for nudes!! thanks for the inspiration :)

Great outfit for $100! I frequently find waist belts at h&m in xs, get excited at how small they fit, but then after one meal it gets unbearably tight and I have to take it off! I almost got your belt in navy : )
