Okay so I wanted to try a different area in the backyard...:)
Click below to see my review!Top: Forever 21 Sweater- size XS
Jeans: Paige Denim Girls- size 12 (Blue Heights Skinny Dark Resin Rinse) (similar HERE)
Shoes: Nine West Nude Peep Toes- size 5 (sold HERE)
Necklace: Mixed Blue Pearls (similar HERE)
Sorry for the not so cute outfit but I wasn't going for a lookbook post, just had to throw on a top for this review purpose!!!
WAIST: Fits really nicely with little to no GAP in the back which is usually a big issue for me and I am sure for many other petites with small waists. I don't like wearing belts with jeans so it's crucial for the back of the jeans to fit! Most jeans on me have a huge gap in the back which forces me to pay for alterations. I have done that on all of my jeans in the past and I refuse to do it anymore.LENGTH: The length is perfect with no alterations on the hem! YAY! I'm a little worried that they might shrink too much so I'll have to be careful when washing. I especially like this because it's not super skinny on the bottom, it's like a skinny straight cut which fits nicely!
BUTT: Not the cutest butt jeans but it fits really snug....which is rare!
COLOR: I love this dark wash and it will be nice to switch off from my H & M Young jeans.
QUALITY: As far as I can tell, the quality seemed really well made. The stitching was all nice and perfect.
VERDICT: Keeping!!!
I got them on sale for only $19.99. Not a bad price compared to the regular sizes for women. I know how hard it is for us petite ladies to find jeans that fit properly so I had to share this recent find with everyone. I'm not one to want to spend money on tailoring jeans because I don't wear them often enough to make it worth it. I guess shopping in the girls department for jeans is working out for me :)
Anyone tried Paige Denim girls jeans yet?

I hate to be a spoil sport, but I'm not a fan. The reason I HATE kids jeans is because I get the same weird fit you're getting in the crotch.
See that weird fabric folding right in front? Those big creases at the top of your thigh? Those are because you have womanly hips! And those kids jeans are cut straight!
Gawsh you are so small! <3 I'm usually the 'fat one' out of my group of friends haha! Everybody is petite but me :P
I'm not crazy about these, either. Maybe it's the wash? I feel like denim that color (no crosshairs/slightly lighter wash on the thighs) makes us petites/short women look even shorter instead of taller! Why don't you try wearing a belt with them to see if it solves the crease issue that AN mentioned?
But thanks for letting me know about these! I buy all my jeans at Nordstrom, from the kids dept, because I'm a size 10. Haven't seen Paiges there yet but I absolutely love my Sevens and Hudsons! Time to check on Nordstrom Rack for some Paiges :)
Not a fan of the jeans because you lose your hips and you look less womanly...if that's the right word. I do have a pair of GAPkids jeans since they have an elastic waistband, but I'm trying to stay away from it since I think I end up looking more kid-like.
Great price on the jeans, but I must agree with Alterations Needed and Styleprint. The fit is quite odd around the hips and crotch. They just don't do your curvy, womanly body any justice!
While I myself would probably keep them because I can't find anything else that remotely fits correctly, I do agree with the others that they still don't fit quite right. The knee still looks a bit low (but yay on the inseam!), the fabric does pull a bit at the crotch, and the back pockets are placed too low and wide. However, I don't think these things would be enough to deter me from buying them, considering they are a pretty decent fit and a wonderful price. So as long as you are aware of these things (which I think are minor details) and don't mind them, I'd say keeping them is a great decision. I think you look beautiful. :)
I love dark washes and the length looks good (and the price is great!), but now that AN has pointed out the crotch creases, I can't stop looking at them! I also agree with Stylepint that they square out your hips so you lose those curves there... and we all know you've got a gorgeous curvy body!
Now I need to go check my size 12 kids jeans to see if I've got those crotch creases X(
You are so slim! I wear size 14 girls haha .. I think I thinned out after junior high too because I used to wear 16's xD I find that with girl jeans, they cut into my hip a lot. Doesn't that hurt you too?
You look fantastic :) No one will ever know those are girls jeans!
I don't own Paige jeans but heard about them. They look nice on you especially for the price. They fit you live a gloves so careful when you wash them. They might shrink a little. Great find!

Last week to enter my giveaway for a beautiful necklace at PetiteLittleGirl.com
They look good on you. The only problem I have with "kids" denim and pants in general is that the knee area tend sto be very baggy! I know I can totally have it them hemmed but I hate to hem -it takes too much time. =(
So I am the biggest fan of kids denim, but I have to admit I don't love these on you (nor the H&M skinnies, for the same reason). It's because you were blessed with curves in the hip area and kids jeans have a straight up and down from the waist to the hips, with little stretch room to accommodate a woman's body.
I had to return a pair of Rock&Republic kids jeans because the straight up and down issue was so bad it just crushed and flattened my hips/butt. You should look into J.Brand...their waists run pretty small, and maybe you can find a petite length or just get a simple hem on their straight legged styles.
Hmmm...I couldn't place my finger on it but I didn't think these looked quite right and I think I have to agree with the others about the wash and the way it fits at the crotch.
I love how much I'm learning from all these blogs! I still don't know how to find the perfect fit in my clothes but seeing all this feedback and seeing all the reviews really helps me out.
OMG i have a pair of kid's paige denim and in the same size! i have same problem as you...it is indeed snug in the butt! the waist and the length is perfect...but the butt!! there's also something weird in the crotch area for me...maybe too much material. i have stayed away from kids denim ever since.
Thanks so much for the honest advice and inputs!!!! WOW- now I am super bummed :( I never thought of myself to have curves on the bottom half of me- I have less than a 32" hip so it's super hard to find pants/jeans.
@AN- I would have NEVER noticed the creases and what you pointed out so thank you for that! I just get super excited when anything fits (or so I think it does)
@PAG- I tried on J Brands before and they didn't fit right- maybe I'll take another look and see :)
@Jenn- I am totally with you:) You and I are very similar...heheheheh
Thanks everyone for helping me realize that theses jeans are not for me- they are going back! Darn it! :(
This is why I love blogging- you get a different perspective!
The biggest problem I have with jeans are the length. I'm so short that most jeans HAVE to be altered which for me isn't worth the time and money.

Does anybody know what size the kids Paige jeans goes up too? My waist is about 24.5", but my hips (well, actually, my butt, lol) is 35.5". (I look slim from the front, but I'm all curves from the side!) My best fitting pair of jeans are kids. Ideas?
Those jeans look great on you! I love the wash and your butt looks good ; )
I was so surprised when I read that they were kids size jeans! Regardless of what others say, I think they look great on you. :)
You do look curvy (I can't believe your hip measures less than 32"..you looks so busty and sexy). My 34" hip doesn't look as good and would have looked much worse in these kids jeans.
These jeans look good on you and I wouldn't have noticed those ceases/folds until AN pointed that out. You. Do not get discouraged though - you will never know until you try it, right? I have always had problem finding jeans that fit well and are not too long :(. BTW thank you so much for stopping by my little blog.
I love Paige jeans!! I used to have about 6 pairs of them and they fit like an absolute glove. I find that they also run small so they're great for tiny girls like you! This pair looks great on you. If you are ever looking for more jeans I totally recommend authenticforum.com... it's a buy/sell/trade forum dedicated to "premium" denim... I used to buy all my jeans there hehe :)
Hope you're having a great week!

I saw your blog and I wanted to invite you to follow my blog.

I would have never noticed the creases either. These Petite Fashion blogs sure have taught me what makes a great fit (and how most of my clothes probably are ill-fitted).
By the way, what is your ethnic background? You have great proportions from what I can see from your pictures! Most petites are flat and curveless, but your so lucky you aren't!
@Jenn- have you tried True Religion kids jeans? My sister is a huge fan!! Or what about Gap kids?
@The Little Dust Princess- thanks for the compliment- you made me smile!
@Jinna- awe....thanks so much- you are so sweet! I was feeling really bad about these jeans!!!
@Nelah- my hips actually measure inbetween 31-32"!
@Jen- thanks for the tip on the brand of jeans! I am going to check them out!
@Amylase- LOL- I am Vietnamese!!! Thanks for the kind words!!!!
You look great in the jeans!
nice, really nice....
xoxo
My hips are also 31" but I don't look nearly as nice and curvy as you! Goes to show it's not just about the measurements but the proportions too. And I never would've guessed that you're Vietnamese! You're not in SoCal too are you?
@PetiteXXS- Oh stop- I'm blushing!!!!!!! LOL Thank you for the sweet compliment!
I sure am in Socal!!! :)
So I saw your Blog. I wanted to invite you to follow my blog. Where I developed the idea for "Featured Followers by Elle © " This is how I promote all my followers. Check out my blog @ www.edkdolce.blogspot.com to find out more!

I think the jeans are a good enough of a fit. For $20 I'd keep it. I don't know about you, but after joining this blogging community, clothes that I used to think fit now don't any more. I think it's all about how perfect you want the fit to be, like everything else in life. I myself get overzealous about getting any pants that has the right inseam and waist. I don't get bogged down my some small imperfections. That said, I'm also aware of the fact that fit makes all the difference in how the clothes look on you.
You look very pretty, as usual.
@Angie- I thought I responded to your question but I don't see it!! So sorry!!! And no it doesn't cut into my hips at all- it's fitted but definitely doesn't cut into it :)
@Vicky- thanks so much for your input! I am the same way about pants with the right inseam and waist. This is why I don't wear too many
those jeans fit great on you! And the whole outfit is really pretty:)
I've never been a fan of buying kid's clothes b/c the fit is always off, even though I barely have any hips or butt. I'd rather just search & search for a sz 23.
I know R&R comes in a sz 23. I own the style Scorpion in sz 23. Such detailed craftsmanship. Superior quality. Stacy London once recommended it for flat booty gals on Oprah. Ever since, I was hooked. It's very long so you'll need alterations.
Genetics also come in a sz 23. Their denim are super soft. The small butt pockets gives the illusion of a bigger behind.
JBrand, esp their jeggings, have such plain flat butt pockets. I know celebs love 'em and some ppl swear by them, but the mat'l is thin and doesn't seem "premium" to me. However, it comes in very small womanly sizes.
@AN, I've been trying to find Paige in 23 forever. You're so lucky you found them. and even before you pointed it out, I immediately noticed the bunching in the crotch area. Sorry ReallyPetite.
OHh thanks for telling me about Paige jeans! I definitely would recommend 7 for all Mankind jeans and Citizens of Humanity--I'm a size 24 and it is a great fit!
